Educators are some of the most big-hearted people i know
Underneath that deceivingly thick skin is a willingness to do whatever it takes to help their students every day to get what they need to thrive academically, socially & emotionally... Often at the cost of their own wellbeing.
I offer both year-long and short term programs with a double-edged approach:
First is with practices that support educator wellbeing, because happy, healthy educators build happy, healthy classes.
Second is with practices that teach educators how to share these practices with their students to support social, emotional and academic achievements in the classroom.
Programs can be mixed and matched to meet the various needs of your schools.
The details below offer some framework, however, I build programs with you each year to meet you, your educators and students where they are.

My Background
I began working with schools in 2013 as a wellness initiative for both teachers and students. The services were centered around Yoga and healthy lifestyle tips. I quickly saw the value and potential that these services had in supporting schools in their social, emotional and academic goals. Because my yoga training was traditional in its nature with a strong emphasis on the mind-body connection, especially with regards to breath and meditation practices, I focused on the mindset that the practices created, rather than the practices alone. Accordingly, each year the curriculum I developed transitioned to a greater focus on mindfulness principles and practices. This has been reinforced through my work and training with Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, which maintains a more neutral and inclusive approach to mindfulness.
My experience has been honed through trainings, self study, self practice and the commitment to listening to students, educators and administrators about their challenges and concerns. The curriculum I offer has been created through constant observation and adjustment to meet schools, students & educators where they are.
